Traffic counts are a valuable tool to help understand traffic flow and the performance of the transportation network. The MPO uses traffic counts to calibrate and validate our long range travel demand model. There are traffic count collection programs in West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, and the FDOT. PBC Engineering Department (Traffic Division)
