To be considered by the MPO Governing Board at their regularly scheduled meeting to be held on Oct. 19, 2017, beginning at 9:00 am. The meeting location is as follows: PBC Governmental Center, 12th Floor Conference Room, 301 N. Olive Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Public Participation Plan (PPP)

This Public Participation Plan serves two main purposes. The first is to provide the public with a guidebook for how and when they can participate in local and regional transportation planning and decision-making. Secondly, it outlines the policies and procedures for public engagement committed to by the Palm Beach MPO.

    • Mail or deliver comments to the MPO at 2300 N. Jog Rd., West Palm Beach, FL 33411
    • Attend the public meeting listed above for the MPO Governing Board on Oct. 19, 2017. Complete a comment card at the beginning of the meeting to indicate a desire to speak on the appropriate agenda item.
    • Please call the MPO at 561-684-4143 with any questions.

This Public Involvement Plan (PIP) outlines the Palm Beach Metropolitan Planning Organization’s plan and associated strategies for enhancing public involvement in the transportation planning process for Palm Beach County, Florida and the Miami Urbanized Area. This document assists the Palm Beach Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) in carrying out its mission in an open process that provides complete information, timely public notice, full public access to key decisions, and support for early and continued involvement.
